Ive been to a lot of campgrounds and very few match the quality of Tanglewood Campground! The new bath house is the highest quality and comfort... clean, well planned and very private spaces. Blair, our host, was responsive, helpful and on point. Will definitely stay here again!!"

An amazing experience camping at Tanglewood!! The place is beautiful and very well maintained. Peaceful sleeps in the tent and our dog had a lovely time wading in the creek. Hope to be back someday soon!!​

Hidden gem!
Tanglewood is a hidden gem, we had originally booked at Linville falls campground but, unhappy with our assigned site, went looking elsewhere and stumbled upon Tanglewood. Nice, quiet and private -- it checked all the boxes and is close by to all our favorite spots. We'll be back for the Safari tents next! Thanks!

Safari Tent - with kids - October 2023
Perfect weekend
We booked the Creekside Safari tent and our cousins booked the Little Log Cabin so we had the benefit of a full kitchen and bathroom at our disposal for the duration which made the experience particularly luxurious for camping (which is exactly our speed). We brought water shoes and creek-walked thru the property with our daughter who loved every second in the water and getting to sleep to the sound of the creek was blissful. We drove the Blue Ridge Parkway up to the Valle Crucis fair, stopped at Linville Winery on the way back- the weekend was everything we wanted it to be and we'll definitely be back!
